Idea Jar ("the app") is an Android app that suggests activity ideas. It is published by Matej (flythecoolmc@gmail.com). This page explains what data the app uses.
You do not create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or location, and we do not run our own server that stores your data.
Your progress (completed and liked ideas, achievements, settings, unlocked categories and whether you bought Pro) is stored only on your device. It never leaves your device through us. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app deletes it.
The free version shows rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address and device and app information to show and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads). Buying Pro removes the ads.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand in an aggregated way how the app is used (for example, app opens and which features are used). It uses an anonymous app instance identifier and general device information. We do not use it to identify you. More: Firebase privacy information.
If you buy Pro, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not see or store your payment details. Google tells the app that the purchase happened so Pro can be unlocked.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Because the app has no accounts and we hold no data about you on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete. To remove everything stored by the app on your device, clear its storage or uninstall it. To manage data held by Google (ads and analytics), use your Google account's privacy controls at myaccount.google.com.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
